In January, the Polityka Salon guest was the leader of the Citizens' Platform Party (PO). There were a lot of people interested in discussion, too many in fact to get into the Club - they watched the meeting on a screen in the Cracow Market Square. Donald Tusk commented on the present situation of Poland including the Hausner Plan and surveys of political popularity. A great part of the discussion concerned the role of the Citizens' Platform in Polish political life now and in the future. Donald Tusk commented on the last presidential surveys, which were published in Polityka and Newsweek magazines. Tusk admitted that as a Citizens' Platform representative he is going to run for presidency in the nearest elections. He said also without hesitation the name of the Citizens' Platform candidate for Prime Minister - Jan Rokita should be the Prime Minister in the new cabinet.
