Club Pod Jaszczurami (Under the Lizards) - is a complex of chambers of 526,71 m2. It is located on the Cracow Market Square 8. ';Under the Lizards' is one of the most popular student clubs in Krakow; it has become almost a legend of the student cultural movement.
But it is not only an academic club; it also acts as a center for graduates of Cracow universities.
It is hard to place a value on the role of this place, mainly due to its history and the remembrances of many famous artists.
The Gothic Chamber of the club is one of the five places in Poland where one can find an asymmetric gothic arch. As a result of this the club is architecturally unique and is entered on the UNESCO monuments world list.
It is also a place where some important cultural and public events are organized: The Polityka Salon, Concerts of the Month, Jaszczrowe Sermons , One-Poem Contest, etc.
A good location makes the club very attractive for advertisement. There is a summer garden in front of the club. The club's artistic program offers many events for club cardholders as well as for students of Cracovian universities.
