13th International Competition of Contemporary Chamber Music

had listened to all performances by soloists, duos, trios, quartets, quintets between

19th and 23rd August 2009 and evaluated the level of the competition as extremely high.

 

The Jury decided to grant: GRAND PRIX of the 13th International Competition
of Contemporary Chamber Music
in the amount of 35 000 PLN and the statuette to:

 

Barbara Drążkowska (Poland) - piano

 

The Jury grants the Marek Stachowski Award for the best performance of a work written by a Polish composer and the statuette to:

Quintet - SONUS:

Marta Bielawska (Poland) - violin

Katarzyna Mazur (Poland) - violin

Błażej Michna (Poland)- viola

Kinga Staniszewska (Poland) - cello

Magdalena Kantor - Michna (Poland) - piano

"I Kwintet fortepianowy" part I, II

 

The Jury has decided to grant Award of the Polish Institute in Prague in the form of the Grand Concert in Prague for:

The Jury has decided to grant a Sound New Prize for outstanding polish performer in the form of the concert in England on Sound New Festival in 2010 for:

The first prize in the soloist category and the statuette go to:

The second prize in the soloist category and the statuette go to:

Francesca Thompson (United Kingdom) - recorder

 

The third prize in the soloist category and the statuette go to:
