12th International Competition of Contemporary Chamber Music

                            Cracow, 3rd September- 7th September 2008

  

 

 

The Jury including:

had listened to all performances by soloists, duos, trios and quartets between 4th September and 5th September 2008 and evaluated the level of the competition as extremely high.

 

The Jury grants the Marek Stachowski Award for the best performance of a work written by a Polish composer, in the amount of 10.000 PLN and the statuette to:

 

Dinara Mazitova (Byelorus) 

for the performance of :

Grażyny Bacewicz "10 etiud"  nr  II, VIII

 

The Jury grants the Special Award for the best performance of a work written by a Dutch composer in the amount of  2.000 PLN and the statuette to:

Essential Duo: So-Yeon Lim (Republic of Korea), Gustaw Ciężarek (Poland)

 

for the performance of :

Louis';a Andriessen Disco

The Jury has decided to grant Award of the Polish Institute in Bratislav in the form of the Grand Concert in Bratislav for:

Piano Duo: Natalia Koziarz (Poland), Daniel Brylewski (Poland).

 

The first prize in the soloist category ex aequo, in the amount of 5 000 PLN and the statuette go to:

Teresa Malik (Poland)

Mateo Cesari (Italy)

.

The second prize in the soloist category in the amount of 2 000 PLN and the statuette go to:

Dinara Mazitova (Byelorus)

 

The third prize in the soloist category ex aequo  in the amount of  1 000 and the statuette go to:

Takao Hyakutome (Japan)

Marian Sobula (Poland)

 

The first prize in the duo category in the amount of  7 000 PLN and the statuette go to:

Piano Duo: Natalia Koziarz (Poland), Daniel Brylewski (Poland)

 

The second prize in the duo category in the amount of 2 500 PLN and the statuette go to:

Duo: So-Yeon Lim (Republic of Korea), Gustaw Ciężarek (Poland)

 

The third prize in the duo category in the amount of 1 500 PLN and the statuette go to:

Duo Epitaph: Aki Yamagishi (Japan), Mari Kawagishi (Japan)

 

The first prize in the trio and quartet category in the amount of  9 000 PLN and the statuette go to:

Messiaen Quartet: Ksenia Berezina (Russian), Zlata Chochieva (Russian), Alexey Mikhaylenko (Russian), Nikolay Shugaev  (Russian)


The second prize in the trio category in the amount of  3 000 PLN and the statuette go to:

Airis Quartet : Dorota Oleszkowicz (Poland), Aleksandra Czajor (Poland), Natalia Warzecha (Poland), Katarzyna Detko (Poland)

 

The third prize in the trio and quartet category in the amount of  2 000 PLN and the statuette go to:

Kazuan Hatogu: Anna Gut (Poland), Zuzanna Tobis (Poland), Katarzyna Hajduk (Poland), Bogusław Schaeffer Trio (Poland)

 

The Jury had decided to award mention in form masterclass for the soloists:

Katarzyny Bryła (Poland)

Santa Vizine (Latvia)

Anna Sarna (Poland)

Małgorzata Walentynowicz (Poland)

 

Jury finds organization of the Competition as a very professional.
