The Jury including: Chairman of the Jury, Professor Jan Pilch Hanna Kulenty Geoffrey Douglas Madge Paul Patterson Roman Jabłoński Marco Roosink
had listened to all performances by soloists, duos, trios, quartets and quintets between September 2nd and September 3th 2005 and evaluated the level of the competition as exceptionally high
The Jury decided to grant: Grand Prix of the 9th International Competition of Contemporary Chamber Music in the amount of 35.000 PLN and the statuette to: Katherine Anokhina
The Jury grants the Special Award for the best performance of a work written by a Polish composer, in the amount of 10.000 PLN and the statuette to: Aleksandra Łapta¶ for the performance of Karol Szymanowski "Mazurki op.50"
The Jury grants the Special Award for the best performance of a work written by a Dutch composer in the amount of 2.000 PLN and the statuette to: Christopher Orton for the performance of Guus Janssen " Largo für tenorblockflote".
The Jury grants the Special Award for the best interpretation of a work in the amount of 3.000 PLN to: June Moonkyung Hahn for the performance of Anna Ignatowicz-Glińska "Toccata for marimba"
The first prize in the soloist category, in the amount of 7.000 PLN and the statuette go to: Katherine Anokhina
The second prize in the soloist category in the amount of 3.000 PLN and the statuette go to: June Moonkyung Hahn
The third prize in the soloist category in the amount of 2.000 PLN and the statuette go to: Radosław Szarek
The Jury had decided to award four special mention for: Andrzej Wojciechowski Richard Craig Robert Kurnyta Christopher Orton
The first prize in the duo category in the amount of 9.000 PLN and the statuette go to: Dasha Moroz i Aleksandr Khaskin
The second prize in the duo category in the amount of 3.500 PLN and the statuette go to: the prize is not awarded The third prize in the duo category in the amount of 2.500 PLN and the statuette go to: Łukasz Wójcicki and Agnieszka Sucheniak, and Eneasz Kubit and Jan Skopowski
The first prize in the trio category in the amount of 11.000 PLN and the statuette go to: Dasha Moroz , Aleksandr Khaskin, Dmitry Tsypkin
The second prize in the trio category in the amount of 4.000 PLN and the statuette go to: Aerodynamic ( Stephane Brandt , Maria Martinez Ayerza , Harma Everts ) The third prize in the trio category in the amount of 3.000 PLN and the statuette go to: SAW Trio ( Sabina Nemtusiak, Anna Dzierżak, Wojciech Szczęch )
The first prize in the quartet, quintet and sextet category in the amount of 13.000 PLN and the statuette go to: Warszawski Kwintet Akordeonowy: Maciej Kandefer, Jarosław Kutera, Magdalena Igras, Mirosław Mozol, Tomasz Holizna
The second prize in the quartet, quintet and sextet category in the amount of 4.500 PLN and the statuette go to: the prize is not awarded
The third prize in the quartet, quintet and sextet category in the amount of 3.5000 PLN and the statuette go to: Kwintet Dęty Amabile: Marcin Stawiszyński, Aleksandra Rojek, Anna Kalska, Dawid Daszkiewicz-D±browski, Mariusz Bulicz
