The guest of the March edition of the Polityka Salon was Professor Wiktor Osiatyński - the author of "Civil Republic".

Wiktor Osiatyński was talking soberly, astutely and in an incredibly interesting way about the condition of our state and our society, saying what can happen and what we can do. "(...) Wise people say that if more young talented and honorable youngsters engage themselves in politics, it would be better. Maybe, but we do not know this for sure. It is because talented, clever and honorable people have ruled our country already. And they either left the game or stopped being clever and honorable. Nevertheless, every year we are under the mass illusion that in the next elections we will manage to choose better representatives to rule our country. But better ones have ruled already and they did not prove to be good enough.  So maybe it would be better if a part of our young, talented and honorable people do not start dealing in politics. Better that they remain normal members of society and let them act, organize, change and reinforce it. If there is no stable society, the state and politics always will always be the plunder for dodgers and psychopaths."
