Jan Dworak - invited to the Polityka Salon in December, confirmed that Polish Public Television in 2005 is going to start a new cultural channel. It is expected that for technical reasons the headquarters of the channel will be located in Warsaw, but the final decision on this has not been reached yet. The channel will present only ambitious films, theatre, operas, and ballets, not only Polish but also foreign.

The channel will cooperate with French channel Arte and Russian Kultura.

During the meeting the audience literally inundated chairman Jan Dworak with questions about: the television fee, sports broadcasts and personnel issues in Polish Public Television.

As always the meeting was conducted by journalist Janina Paradowska representing the magazine Politics.
