The Jury including:

Has listened to all performances by soloists, duos, trios and quartets and quintets between September 3rd and September 4th 2004 and evaluated the level of the competition as very high.
The Jury decided to grant the Grand Prix of the 8th Annual International Contemporary Chamber Music Competition in the amount of 30 000 PLN and the statuette to: Israel Contemporary String Quartet: Hadas Fabrikant (Izrael), Tali Goldberg (Izrael), Galia Hai (Izrael), Hilla Epstein (Izrael)
The Jury grants the Special Award for the best performance of a work written by a Polish composer, in the amount of 10 000 PLN and the statuette to: Magdalena Nasidlak (Poland) for the performance of 4 Preludes of H. M. Górecki.
The Special Prize for the best performance of a piece written by a Dutch composer in the amount of 2000 PLN is not awarded.
The first prize in the soloist category, in the amount of 6000 PLN and the statuette go to: Michele Marelli (Italy).
The second prize in the soloist category in the amount of 2000 PLN and the statuette go to: Michał Pawełek (Poland). The third prize in the soloist category in the amount of 1000 PLN and the statuette go to: Leszek Kolodziejski (Poland).
The first prize in the duo category in the amount of 8000 PLN and the statuette go to: Marimba Duo :Elwira Ślązak (Poland) and Gabriel Collet (France).
The second prize in the duo category in the amount of 2500 PLN and the statuette go to: Aliaksandr Khaskin (Byelorussia) and Dasha Moroz (Byelorussia).
The third prize in the duo category in the amount of 1500 PLN and the statuette go to: Małgorzata Świętoń (Poland) and Justyna Skoczek (Poland).
The first prize in the trio category in the amount of 10 000 PLN and the statuette go to: Muczyński Trio: Evgenia Kirjener (Canada), Luo Di (China), Airat Ichmouratov (Russia).
The second prize in the trio category in the amount of 3000 PLN and the statuette go to: Violarium Trio: Anna Kozera (Poland), Mariusz Grochowski (Poland), Łukasz Szymakowski (Poland).
The third prize in the trio category is not awarded.
A special distinction in the trio category in the amount of 2000 PLN and a statuette go to: Marta Różańska (Poland), Andrzej Wojciechowski (Polska), Grzegorz Hoga (Polska).
The first prize in the quartet and quintet category in the amount of 12 000 PLN and the statuette go to Israel Contemporary String Quartet: Hadas Fabrikant (Israel), Tali Goldberg (Israel), Galia Hai (Israel), Hilla Epstein (Israel).
The second prize in the quartet and quintet category in is not awarded.
The third prize in the quartet and quintet category in the amount of 2500 PLN and a statuette go to:Ludmiła Piestrak (Poland), Natalia Konik (Poland), Ewa Moszczyńska (Poland), Monika Łapka (Poland).
The Jury evaluated the organizational level of the Competition as very high. |
