16 June 2004 the guest of the Extraordinary Polityka Salon was Marek Belka - the Prime Minister of Poland. The meeting was dominated by questions abut the cabinet and the EU Constitutional Treaty.

The Prime Minister acknowledged that the Treaty is the most important problem to handle. He announced also to set in order all unclear matters related to privatization of the public sector. Asked about his most favorite literary character, he replied: Jacques the Fatalist by Denis Diderot.
